Seattle Chestnuts was started in 2002, when owner Isao Matsumura opened a small sales stand in front of Uwajimaya in Seattle’s International District.

Fresh chestnuts are imported from the Yan Shan Mountain region each season and roasted fresh next to the stand daily. Fresh peanuts are also roasted daily and are available in light and dark roasts.

We take pride in being the exclusive destination in the Pacific Northwest for authentic Asian-style fresh roasted chestnuts and peanuts. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or trying them for the first time, we hope you stop by and pick up a bag or two.
